Air Quality - Poor air and the demand-controlled ventilation

poor air

Carbon dioxide affects air quality
Although carbon dioxide (CO2 ) is non-toxic at low concentrations in the ambient air for the people it affected his well-being crucial. Carbon dioxide already tired from a concentration of 800 ppm. Since humans exhale carbon dioxide, this value is in closed rooms with many people quickly reached (meeting rooms, etc.). One speaks of poor air.

With our carbon dioxide detection systems you can regulate the ventilation of enclosed spaces and buildings depending on the number of persons, so that:

  • the energy consumption is as low as possible (demand-oriented ventilation) and
  • the present persons not tire prematurely.

ventilation

Demand-controlled ventilation
A permanent ventilation through open windows increases the energy consumption, the resulting draft leading to colds and is perceived as unpleasant. Demand-controlled ventilation prevents from this.To maintain the air quality (IAQ, Indoor Air Quality) a demand-controlled ventilation (DCV) is therefore necessary in such rooms and buildings.

Carbon dioxide is considered as the lead compound for pollutants that can trigger the "Sick Building Syndrome". The hygienic guideline for indoor use is in accordance with DIN 1946-2 at 1500 ppm CO2.

Optimal solution
Our sensors can measure the air quality and at poor air demand-controlled ventilation. The infrared measuring system used in our products determines the absolute carbon dioxide in the ambient air (partial pressure), constantly monitors itself and signals malfunctions of the hard- and software. The entire measuring range is linear. Depending on the application, the ambient temperature and measuring range, we offer a wide range of products.

With our carbon dioxide detection system you can control the ventilation of enclosed spaces and buildings depending on the headcount of persons, so that the energy consumption remains as low as possible and the persons will not prematurely get tired.
Application: Workplace monitoring;
Monitoring of air quality (CO2 concentration) in offices, schools and commercial premises
Measuring range: 0 - 3000 ppm CO2
MF420-IR-AL
Luftgteampel farbig 100x100

see product
The probe MF420-IR-AL is designed to monitor the indoor air quality. With the help of two independent relay contacts, when exceeding certain thresholds, window opener, air conditioning or a fan can be automatically controlled.
Application: Workplace monitoring;
Indoor surveillance and control of external devices
Measuring range: 0 - 3000 ppm CO2
0 - 5000 ppm CO2
MF420-IR-LC
MF420 IR LC 100x100

see product
The measuring system MF420-IR-LC determines the air quality (CO2 concentration) indoors and gives out the measuring values either via a 0..20 mA or 0..10 V interface for further processing.
Application: Workplace monitoring;
Monitoring of air quality (CO2 concentration) for climate control solutions
Measuring range: 0 - 3000 ppm CO2
0 - 5000 ppm CO2
0 - 1 vol% CO2
MF420-IR-CO2
MF420 100x100

The probe MF420-IR-CO2 determined by a specific infrared sensor, the carbon dioxide concentration in the air mixture in an ambient temperature of -10 to +50 ° C. It is compact, robust and maintenance free in normal applications. The housing is made of aluminum and suitable for wall mounting. The measured values are optionally provided on a 4..20 mA or 0..10 V interface.
Application: Workplace monitoring;
Monitoring of the CO2 concentration
Measuring range: 0 - 3000 ppm CO2
0 - 5000 ppm CO2
0 - 6000 ppm CO2
0 - 1 vol% CO2
0 - 2 vol% CO2
0 - 3 vol% CO2
0 - 5 vol% CO2

The measuring system MF420-IR-CO2-AL is the robust variant of our air quality signal, which visualizes the air quality with the traffic light function. With the integrated AC relay, e.g. a fan can be controlled, at levels above the thresholds.
Application: Workplace monitoring;
Monitoring of air quality (CO2 concentration)
Measuring range: 0 - 5000 ppm CO2
