MF420-Ex-2.1
The probe MF420-Ex 2.1 is approved for operation in hazardous areas of zone 1 and zone 2 and has an EU-type examination certificate in accordance to Directive 2014/34/EU (ATEX) with the following certificate and labeling:

The modular design of the sensor allows to equip it with a catalytic sensor (Pellistor) for determining the concentration of explosive gases and vapors, or with an electrochemical sensor for toxic gases depending on the variant. The concentration is output from the 4 - 20 mA interface, for further processing.
The measuring ranges depend on the measured gas or vapor. For a table of ranges please refer to the product assortment. Other gases, vapors, and concentrations are also possible on request. The device has been approved in accordance with the directive 2014/34/EU (ATEX) with the type examination certificate IBExU 12 ATEX 1080 X. It was tested according to the standards EN 61000-6-2 and EN 61000-6-3 and EN 50270 and complies with the EMC Directive 2014/30/EU. The device is delivered already calibrated. The maintenance cycle must / should correspond to the given safety requirements. We recommend at least a semi-annual inspection of the equipment by qualified personnel. You can also use our service.
